A very basic question but what is the username and password to SSH to the RUT950 i have used both the default admin password and the one i have set. Both times without success

To connect to SSH with default config you must use:

Username: root
Password: admin01

Of course if you changed your password. Use the new password, but for the SSH the login is root.
