Hi all,

is there a way to manually switch between the RUT 955 WAN (wired) of the router and the Mobile (WAN2) or the Wifi (WAN3) in failover mode without using the router's web interface to manually switch between the operation mode?

If necessary with an external script or software.

Hi,

If you're trying to switch over another WAN in failover mode you can do it by forcing it to go into failover, just take out the SIM or the cable, or shutdown the WiFi your router is using as AP.

If you just wish to switch over another WAN without doing anything to your device, you can also use:

With UCI you can change mwan lines to change the metrics of the interfaces of the failover.

You will find all the changable lines with execution of uci show | grep mwan
