Hi,

I'd like to use the mobile connection of the RUT240 as the primary WAN for all traffic, except when the source address is in a specific range of IP addresses on the LAN when it should go through the wired WAN.

I can make this work with the rules in load balancing, however I'd also like all traffic to go through the wired WAN in the event that the mobile WAN becomes disconnected - so essentially a failover. It appears that the router is still trying to push traffic down the mobile connection even when it's disconnected. Is this possible and how do I configure it please?

Many thanks

Hi,

As we lack functionality on the scenario "when WAN is down - delete its rules and create the rules for the other interface instead", you will have to do it on your own with the script that will check:

1. If the WAN is down - delete the rules stating specific traffic going through it.

2. If both are up - delete the rules again and set them back as they were.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to help you with the script, but this should be enough to give you an idea of how the script should work.
