Hi,

For our application we need to take images with Geo-location. We are using PoE cameras powered via a switch, and it takes a photo every second (1FPS). We have also integrated a microcomputer (Linux based) which will get the GPS data and photos in order to create a Geo-stamp before updating to the cloud.

Is RUT955  capable to send GPS information ever second, if not does anyone how often can it send the information so that we can create a function accordingly.

Hi,

Not really as our routers can only get and forward NMEA data of one device, which is the router itself.

For the cameras, you would need the GPS antenna to be in the same spot as your cameras and a router for each camera.

RUT955 is capable of sending the GPS information every second, but please read and study this wiki page before your use-case realization.
