Ok, have RUT240

wired Wan has been set as a 2nd Lan port and the 2 vLans created.

I need to connect via mobile to device on lan1 to do this the device on the lan1 has to have the same default router IP of the rut240.

However it already has a default router if another router connected on lan2

assuming I can’t just change the rut240 to be same IP as the lan2 router as this will cause conflict?

So how do allow device to have both a default router ip of the router on lan2 and the rut240 to allow connection of device remotely.

Normally I just have the rut240 connected and put the rut240 io address on the lan device and it works no probs but this job I need to allow connection from someone else’s router, this is connected via the wan(as lan)

Sorry this is all above my knowledge so need the help

Hi,

In this case, you would have to mobile bridge your RUT240 to that device or change your RUT240 to have a different LAN IP, something like 192.168.1.2.

In other cases, yes, you will have an IP conflict between those devices and your device connected to RUT240 and RUT240 itself will lose connection to your PC once the IP is changed.
