We are using some devices running Windows CE 6.0 and connected via RUT 240 with the internet. On these devices, there runs some custom software written in .NET compact framework 3.5. A part of the software monitores the connection state by parsing the login-page http://[IP-Address]/cgi-bin/luci

After upgrading the firmware from version v1.12.2 up to version v1.13.3 this login-page is no longer delivered with HTTP status 200 but with HTTP status 403. In a modern web-browser this doesn't make much difference. In the old WebClient in .NET compact framework the HTTP status 403 always ends up in an exception an you have noch chance to get the site-content.

  • Is there any chance to restore the delivery with http status 200 on version v1.13.3?
  • Does an native URL exist, wich delivers the content of the login-page mit http status 200?
  • Can I write a custom page in lua, containing the connection-overwiev of the login-page?

Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.

Hello.

This error can have many reasons. I think that the reason isn't the change in the firmware version. Reset your device settings to default and try using another internet source if possible.

Best regards.
