Since you made a business RUTOS out of OpenWRT why you just make your OS compatible with some package releases of OpenWRT packages so that we would have all software up to date and don't have to wait months on new packages just because you don't have enough people to keep everything to latest release?

Wiki on how to compile additional packages is empty:

I simply use official openwrt for my RUT955.

Much easier to implement custom software this way, or to get rid of redundant stuff.

Hello,

We regularly release new firmware versions with updated libraries and packages. We cannot upgrade all packages because our firmware code needs to be made compatible with the latest package releases and it takes some time to do it and test if everything works without major issues.

Regards.
