Hello,

I was upgrading our customer's router to the RUT955 with the latest firmware. Using the same IPsec settings from firmware version 5, the router connects(as seen from the IPsec server), but the local network becomes unreachable.

I'm connecting different subnets. Here is a screenshot of the settings from FW 5.

If the local Subnet is /24 it works in FW 6, but not with a /29 Subnet.  Is it necessary to add manual routing rules in the new firmware version?

Thank you,

Nico

Hello,

Thank you for contacting.

May i know what exact firmware are you using ?

Rut955 has new RutOS 7. That works with face lift versions.

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Product_Change_Notifications#2020.10.16:_top_device_marking_changes

Also have you checked in the routes if it creates ?

Thanks.

Hello Ahmed,

I currently have the same problem, with another RUT955.

Both Routers are the old Version.

Firmware: RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.4

There are no routing rules created. Only the firewall rule, for remote web access.

Connecting the similar IP-Networks doesn't seem to work. Unless I'm missing a rule.

I changed the network configuration, so I can avoid this problem. It still would be interesting to know what exactly causes this.

Best wishes,

Nico
