Hello,

Is it possible to send sensordata over mqtt, for example temperature, to a RUT955 that will covert it to modbus?

If it is possbile, where can i find a manual ?

The platform that sends the data is a raspberry pi.

Kind regards,

Hi,

It is possible to gather data with Modbus and then send it via MQTT.

But another way around would require additional software or changes.

Here you can read about data to server, if you want to gather with Modbus and send via MQTT:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Modbus#Modbus_Data_to_Server

But I might've misunderstood you and you want to use our MQTT gateway, then here's a wiki page about it:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Modbus#MQTT_Gateway

It translates the received MQTT message payload to a Modbus request, which is then sent to specified Modbus TCP slaves

We are working at getting RPC working on RUT955
Is MQTT Gateway required ?
We have explored many different approaches, but no joy

Any tips/tricks to having RPC commands issued by ThingsBoard desktop
to RUT work ?
Data from IoT -> RUT -> TB is working fine
