RUT240, fw RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.1

In the GUI, Mobile Information says Cell ID = N/A and Operator state = Denied.

gsmctl -C
GSMCTL error: parsing output
N/A

gsmctl -g
denied

denied is not listed as one of the possible ones on this page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Gsmctl_commands#Get_network_connection_state

It worked without any issues for 5 days, but since the last 23 hours I see this denied - N/A state.

There is nothing wrong with the connection as such. I can still use the router remotely over internet.

Is this a bug?

Hello,

Regarding the issue, it would be best to try a different sim card inserted into the device. Most of this kind of issue is due to the network signal from your ISP provider is really weak. It is best to put both the Mobile antenna of Main and Aux for better signal coverage. If the issue is still persisting try to use this test firmware: https://kaunas.teltonika.lt:444/f/fff82558bf3a414b8515/?dl=1

Hello Mellow,

the link you provided doesn't work: "Sorry, but the requested page could not be found."

I don't think there is anything wrong with the SIM-card, I used it for years in the same location but in a RUT955.

Reason for changing to the RUT240 is that my old RUT955 did not support the possibility to select which frequency bands that should be used. Signal strength on B20 (800 MHz) is good, average last 24h around -60 dBm. But signal to noise ratio is not very good.

I am using an external cross-pol log-periodic antenna.

I have selected to use WCDMA 900 and LTE B20. I can remove the WCDMA 900 option to see if it make any difference.

Without this option to select frequency band, sometimes 1800 MHz is selected and then there is a high packet loss ratio.

Göran

Hello,

You can refer to this link for the suggested mobile signal strength: Mobile Signal Strength Recommendations - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

Try observing the device performance in other network bands maybe it's in B20 only.

Sorry, what do you mean you got an error saying max length 12000 characters? Could you provide some screenshots for this?
