Hi Everyone,

we are using some RUT240 and observe higher traffic than expected. We also use MC55w gprs modems with a monthly usage of ca 1 mb.

To verify we put up a RUT240 with no machine etc attached and found out a 0.33 mb up und 0.33 mb download daily (so 19.8 mb per month without any action).

MQTT and all other services are disabled. We consider it an "keep alive" ping / Heartbeat?! Can that be adjusted? If so, where?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Make sure:

1. Newest firmware version is installed.

2. Ping reboot is disabled: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Auto_Reboot

3. All the services that you don't need are disabled here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Services

4. And the "heartbeat" functionality for failover is disabled here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_WAN
