My fairly new RUTX12 seems to have died. Nothing happens on power on - only the power led comes on. If I plug an ethernet cable in on of the ports I am able to get the receive led to blink when pinging - but neither DHCP or web UI (when I try with a non dhcp client adress) is working. Even though the LED blink on the Ethernet port the device does not respond to ICMP pings. I have tried to reset and reboot - but nothing seems to happen no matter how long I hold the button (tried 30+ seconds).

Does anybody has any suggestions on what to do?

Update: After leaving it on for "some time" the Power LED is now blinking at a rate of about once per second

Hi,

Did you try getting into the bootloader menu of the RUTX12 and trying to reflash it?

If this doesn't help - please return the device to the reseller.

Thanks alot - this worked. I could flash with new firmware that made the device work again. However, the /uboot.html listed in the link just gave 404 - but I am happy - my RUTX12 works again.
