Hello,
my RUT240 cannot see the Quectel EC25 modem anymore.
The wwan0 interface is not listed:

root@Teltonika-RUT240:~# ip link | grep wwan0
root@Teltonika-RUT240:~#

If I run "gsmctl" command I got:

root@Teltonika-RUT240:~# gsmctl -H
GSMCTL: No such file or directory

And from the GUI I cannot see any info about the modem.
How can I recover the modem? It was working fine previously.

Thanks,
M

Hi,

Did you do any firmware updates recently?

Have you used any scripts or apps that could do something to your mobile services?

In any case, please reflash your firmware through the bootloader menu: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Bootloader_menu

And let us know your results.

Hi,
yes, I have tried a modem firmware update following the instructions of Teltonika support. BUt maybe something went wrong during the procedure.
However, I have proceeded with an RMAbecuase there was no way to recover the modem.

I have tried the same upgrade procedure in other RUT240 and it works.
