Hi,

I'm trying to configure "email to SMS" but I'm not succeeding.

The settings are fine, I've already tested the following functions:

  • Send scheduled SMS.
  • Send SMS manually
  • Send SMS when settings change.
  • Send email when logged in to the router.

All these worked without problems.

So I created an email, configured the router with the email data, and sent emails with the phone number in the subject and still I don't receive any SMS.

I found in the Logs (CLI) it appears that the emails were read, and I saw in the email that the login is being done in X time, as configured in the router, and even so there is no attempt to send the logs.

What is the firmware that you're using and could you please share your email configuration on the router?

Email config: 

  • POP3 server: pop.gmail.com
  • Server Port: 995
  • user name: ******@gmail.com
  • SSL: Enable

Firmware version: RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.3 

I tried upgrade the firmware  to the version RUT9_R_00.07.00 without success. I got the error "verification failed" (img attach). I tried download the firmware and then install and got the same error.
