Has anyone seen any guide regarding installing the RUT955 in a car?

Hi,

We do not have any instructions on that, but you should prepare yourself with a power source, a rail kit, or surface mounting kit to hold your RUT955 in place in the car, and of course, external antennas that you could mount on the top of the roof.

If you have any questions about the placement or anything else during your process of mounting RUT955 in a car - please let me know.

What would be a suitable power source? I presume it needs 9v... Is there a specific name/connector for the power port?

I have installed a RUT955 in my camper. With a cable available at Teltonika as an accessory ("https://teltonika-networks.com/de/product/power-cable-4way/") I connected pin 1 (red) of 4 pin connector to +Batt, and pin 2 (black) of 4 pin connector to -Batt. Teltonika support confirmed that there is no need for additional circuitry; the device directly operates from 12 V. Hope this helps.
