Yesterday i noticed this when i tried to check my Samba configuration.

I think this started to happen after RUT9XX_R_00.06.00 firmware update.

Any suggestions what causes this?

sounds like a bug then, if you report it then I am sure it will be fixed.

You could go back to older firmware if needed.

Is there anyway to contact their support?

I can't see any contact information on their website.

The problem turned out to be the firmware itself.
It has been fixed now in RUT9XX_R_00.06.00.4

Have you tried clearing your browser cache or try resetting router to defaults?

Hi,

Yes on both questions, i have also tried different computes but no luck.

FYI, smb works normally despite the error, error only prevents me from changing any settings.

The 500 Internal Server Error is the general catch all error when the server throws an exception. It is the error message when no more specific error message is suitable. It may be difficult to troubleshoot this error because it can be triggered out by many different issues. This error means there is a problem on the server side.  However, there are often ways to quickly get around the problem:

  • Reload the web page.
  • Clear your browser's cache
  • Delete your browser's cookies
  • Or Come back later.
