rut950 as VPN server with 5 RUT950 clients

Hi Brainstrust!

I'm looking to install 6 RUT950s.

  • 1x VPN Server - will have LAN connection with public IP, and 3G/4G backup (also with static IP).
  • 5x VPN Clients - will have a mix of LAN+3G/4G and 3G/4G+3G/4G.
All endpoint devices need to talk to each other as well as a server applicance at the concentrator.
Is the RUT950 going to have sufficiant processing power to support that number of clients (estimated throughput for each site is approx 10mbps) and am I going to require static IPs at the client end?
I appreciate your help!

Hi,

OpenVPN  should handle with 1 Server and 5 clients. Should be used TLS authentication.

For this case public ip should be used in server, clients can use private IP.
