is there a Modbus slave limit on the RUT955 for serial devices (RS485)?

We have 20 Modbus slave devices and want to read 10 registers from each device and publish the data over MQTT.

is this possible?

Hi,

There is a limit from a WebUI side, but it is more than 20 devices which means that you will be perfectly fine if you will create 20 instances to read 10 registers each.

Modbus protocol limitations support a maximum 247 slave for one master in Modbus RTU.
