Hello
we've got the following problem. The DNS is not resolving correct. Here's a part of the TCP-dump.
1733 16.442012 192.168.254.201 192.168.254.1 DNS 84 Standard query 0x0004 A <url-name>
1734 16.442012 192.168.254.201 192.168.254.1 DNS 84 Standard query 0x0004 A <url-name>
1735 16.442680 172.24.200.70 172.17.10.1 DNS 84 Standard query 0xa117 A <url-name>
1736 16.442914 172.24.200.70 1.1.1.1 DNS 84 Standard query 0xa117 A <url-name>
1737 16.448574 172.17.10.1 172.24.200.70 DNS 100 Standard query response 0xa117 A <url-name> A 192.168.60.230
1738 16.449172 192.168.254.1 192.168.254.201 DNS 84 Standard query response 0x0004 A <url-name>
1739 16.449218 192.168.254.1 192.168.254.201 DNS 84 Standard query response 0x0004 A <url-name>
192.168.254.201 = client
192.168.254.1 = RUT950 - LAN site
172.24.200.70 = RUT950 - WAN site
172.17.10.1 = Internal DNS
In the dump we see that there is a DNS resolving of the <url-name>. But the RUT950 is not sending it to the client.
And the RUT950 tries both DNS servers. the internal and 1.1.1.1
With regards Martin
