I used the boot menu as described. downloaded the newest firmware

but still the router won't restart automaticly

I've let the router on - all night long, but still doesn't install the firmware and won't automatic restart

To identify what caused the issue I would like to ask you to share the troubleshoot file. You can download logs by navigating System > Administration > Troubleshoot and press the download button near troubleshoot entry.
