We have enabled the NMEA forwarding by UDP and enabled the forwarding of GPRMC with an interval of 1 second. We thus expect one GPRMC UDP message per second.

The router unfortunately floods out around 15 duplicates of the GPRMC messages per second. In addition does the gpsd also create a high CPU load.

If we enable the GPGSV messages, these are invalid as well due to these duplicates.  The message sequence is not provided in the right order.

This state is 100% reproducible on our new RUT955 running the latest firmware RUT9_R_00.07.01.1.

Is there a realistic chance to get this issue solved?

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

It is a know issue and has been resolved, it should be out with our 7.2 Firmware release. In addition, I do have a test firmware available if an urgent fix is required. Send me a private message and I will forward the test firmware to you.

Best Regards,

Dziugas
