Hi,

we want to use the TRM240 LTE-modem as part of our product and need to perform an EMC-test. For that, the lab needs additional information about the modem on emmited inference. I did not find anything in the wiki except the CE-report, which only mentions the maximum power emmited in the different LTE-Band.

Second, we use an antenna with +6db gain. The resulting output power is more than allowed. Is is possible, to reduce the output power by software? Otherwise we have to use a 3db attenuator which would also effect the incoming signal.

We are doing another test in the lab soon and so I hope, anyone here had the same problem and can give me a hint.

Thank you!

Best regards, Lars.

Hi,

You can find EC21 modem specification here: https://www.quectel.com/wp-content/uploads/pdfupload/Quectel_EC21_LTE_Specification_V1.8.pdf

And unfortunately, there is no way to reduce the output power by software unless it would be done from Quectel's side.
