Hello,

can anybody tell me the purpose behind the "delay" option at GPS --> HTTPS? If I change this option from 5 seconds to 2 or 20 seconds, nothing happens. The duration between the requests is still 5 seconds.

Firmware: RUTX_R_00.07.01

Thank you.

Hello,

As indicated in option's description, it allows to add additional delay before actual NMEA information is sent to remote server:

Take note, that once transfer starts, constant stream of data would be received on server's side regardless of this option's value and actual timestamps (between current time and time from recent message) should be compared to check time differences.

Were you just testing router's GPS functionality all available settings, or do you have particular need to receive NMEA data with exact constant delay? If there is a need for this particular delay, could you let us know more details what exact delay is necessary for you and more details about your solution/use case, along with reason why data should be delayed?
