I have followed strictly every step of the procedure, but in the final step the RUT955 freezes on "UPGRADE IN PROGRESS". I've waited a couple of hours, but there was no progress and I've restarted it. Since then it won't boot.

Can you still reach bootloader menu?:

192.168.1.1/index.html

or

192.168.1.1/uboot.html

No, the router won't start. The ethernet ports won't light up. Only the power diod lights.

If router do not respond, can not request bootloader mode (pressing reset button while powering). Then seems router is crashed and needed to send for RMA.
