hi, i have a new RUT240 which out of the box says  

SIM card status SIM (not inserted)
ive tried adding a small paper under the sim which did not solve the issue.
anything i can do ?

Hello,

Could you please insert SIM card into your device again, then power on/reboot the device and wait few minutes.

Finally, download troubleshoot package from this router and share it here. (Troubleshoot package can be downloaded from "System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot" menu)

Note: Troubleshoot package contains router's configuration information and current router's logs. All passwords and certificate information is hidden automatically (not included in troubleshoot package). Nonetheless, it is recommended to remove any other information (e.g. phone numbers) that you might not want to share publicly.

Hello,

Thank you for troubleshoot package.

It might be the case, that this particular unit might have hardware issues and therefore would need to be send to an RMA.

Could you let me know if you have purchased this unit from a reseller, through which RMA is possible?

If yes, would you be able to return device to reseller so that it could arrange device's RMA?

To start with it would be great if you could try contact this local reseller and let them know about issue you are facing and fact that you have contacted us and was instructed to send device to RMA. They would accept device back from you and send it to us through their direct Teltonika contact.
