FMC125 configurator does not detect my device

Hi,  I am new to this community.  I just purchased a Teltonika FMC125 and followed the steps on https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMC125_First_Start#PC_Connection_.28Windows.29 but when I open the Teltonika Configurator v. 1.7.22, it just keeps searching and does not find my device.  I have 3 usb ports on my laptop and I tried on all 3 of them.  I've also used 2 different micro-usb to usb connectors.
