Hi,

I have a project where we need to connect 4 "Substations", in this case RUT240´s with VPN connection to 1 host (Also RUT240) that will collect all the data. What is the best practice in this case? Is it possible to solve with multiple IPSEC tunnels or should I look into something else?

Hi,

If the Host will have a Public IP, then you can choose from several options.

If it will be IPsec, then you will need to create 4 separate IPsec instances in the Host section, for each Substation separately.

If you use OpenVPN or L2TP over Ipsec, it will be enough to create one server instance on the Host side and the client on each Substation.

Try to create each VPN tunnel separately and test the speeds with iperf3. I think you will quickly understand which option is more suitable for you.
