Hello,

I'm currently running 00.07.01.2 on the RUT240 and would like to downgrade to 00.01.14.5.

When trying the firmware upload via webinterface, the RUT240 shows:

CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
Configuration files will be erased. Uploaded firmware image version is older than current firmware version.
VALIDATION SUCCEEDED
Below is the checksum and file size listed, compare them with the original file to ensure data integrity.
Checksums:
MD5: 465694ac92001dbf0715e43342032b52
SHA256: f3b25e0ec3c261816320a5ceb4b60dfdea3ae32cf7b67a8bb6c33f5e0d644e07
Size: 12.31 MB available
UNAUTHORIZED FIRMWARE
Uploaded firmware image is NOT digitaly signed by Teltonika Networks. Continue with caution.

However, I have downloaded the firmware from your website, it's not some third party or otherwise changed firmware.

How can I downgrade the device? It says to continue with caution, can I just proceed?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.
This message informs, that downgrading firmware device will be set to factory default settings and your current configuration will be not saved.
If you want to keep configuration, please create a backup, which later could be uploaded.
Because firmware validation are succeed "unauthorized firmware" message could be ignored and firmware could be installed.

Best regards,

Sigitas
