Hi all,
I've got a 230m ethernet cable run to a RUT950. I want to power it using PoE, and I've bought Veracity Longspan Injector units for this. However, the RUT950 needs passive PoE. Is there a simple PoE splitter or a neater inline device that could step down the power so the RUT950 can use it? Definitely don't want to risk frying it.
Alternatively, if anyone can think of a more elegant solution, please do suggest one.
