Question

As the title mentions, is there a way I can differentiate between the local and international versions of the router either physically or in the router UI ?

Hello, 

The list of device versions can be found in the product pages. For simplicity I will add a screenshot for RUT240 versions. To find the version of your specific device, you need a product code. It can be found in router's WebUI by going to Status -> System. There is a Product code line under Device section. Just compare the code with available versions in the picture.
