Hello,

RUT850 measures the current battery voltage under the "sleep mode information" if it is enabled on the overview page. That is good, but is there any way to make the router to send alarm (SMS or email) if the voltage goes too low, not only put the router to sleep mode?

This would be nice feature as many of these routers are installed in vehicles that could run out of battery and the information would be nice to get without another device that could alarm about it.

Unfortunately router do not have such feature.

It requires additional development.

Ok thanks for the info and quick reply! I would vote this for feature development, I think many could have use for this feature when the router is in trailer, boat or such vehicles that could potentially run out of battery.

Thanks,

Sami

Is there a way to read battery voltage from command line, as the value is available on web UI ?

This would be a great idea, my install is in a boat, and the battery voltage is important.

also do you know the current consumption in sleep mode please?

Hi,

Power consumption of RUT850 you can find here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Power_consumption_of_RUT850
