Since a reboot a couple of weeks ago I have lost the 2.4Ghz interface.

When I login, the status says running, but my mobile phone only sees the 5Ghz interface, and my 2.4Ghz only appliance (Victron Cerbo) does not see any interface at all, and cannot connect.

The lan port on the cerbo is already used, so keen to use a WiFi connection.

Any ideas how to resolve?

Hello,

There are a couple of things you can try:

  • Login to your router's Web interface. Go to Network -> Wireless. Check if the 2.4GHz interface is enabled.
  • If there is no interface at all, press Add button. Set mode as Access Point, enter your desired SSID, select encryption type and create a password. Press Save & Apply.
  • Restore factory settings. In router's WebUI navigate to System -> Backup -> Restore default settings. You can also use also a physical Reset button. Press and hold it for 12 to 20 seconds.

Please inform if the issue still persists.

Best regards,

Is the 2,4 Ghz asigned to a non-reachable local WLAN-Hotspot as a client? If so, disable this wlan.
