Question

Hi,

I'd like to connect to my Synology NAS remotely. I can do it throught my mobile phone connection with Open VPN, but it is not working through my Teltonika RUTX11. I got no answer from the different browser I tried.

I'm new to network so please take it easy with explanation.

So mostly all settings are on default. I just absolutely don't know what setting is bloking the connection.

Any ideas please  ?

Hello, 

It is possible that it worked on your phone because you configured it with an OpenVPN configuration file. Regarding the configuration on the RUTX11, you will need to check the configuration on the NAS (TUN/TAP type, TCP/UDP protocol, port, encryption, etc). This is because you must configure the RUTX11 in the same way to access it. The easiest way to do this is with an OpenVPN configuration file. This way you only have to load the file in the RUTX11 and it would be ready to connect. Here is a link to some OpenVPN configuration examples.
