Hi,

If I have a backup of working router which has ovpn client certificate and upload it to other routers,will it work or do I need to create different certificate for each device? Thanks

Hello,

It should work if the "Allow duplicate certificates" option is ON in the OpenVPN configuration (SERVER side), this will let multiple clients connect using the same certificates. Keep in mind that for security reasons, unique certificates are recommended, especially for bigger networks (locally, for a few clients, it's ok to use duplicates).
