Hello,

Both antenna connectors operate identically, they are used for transmission and reception at the same time and they can work separately. Using both antennas connected at the same time allows for additional signal processing, which improves overall experience of using WiFi.

The RUTX has 2 inputs for WIFI. What antenna does the RUTX then transmit its own WiFi signal when the 2 connections are occupied by the external antenna? For example, external antenna on caravans and RUTX in caravans.

Those two inputs are also used by RUTX to transmit its own WiFi signal. There are no additional connectors for the device to operate in another way. The differences come in the signal processing. When the device operates as both: access point and client in the same time and frequency band, a reduction in maximum achievable speeds results as the amount of WiFi frames to/from different devices increases.

Also use a connection for the external WIFI antenna and the others for the antenna of the own WIFI network from the RUTX?
