Hello,

I have TRB140 with LTE SIM card but no public IP. I need to connect to device (PLC) through this router.
What is the simpliest way to do  it? I append picture with my solution.

TRB140 is VPN client, It can connect to VPN. Programming device is notebook connected to VPN too. It works now, but I don't have access to PLC network behind the TRB140.
Is it possible to do it this way or I need other router or seccond router? I already spent many time with it.

Hi Jan,

So what you need is client-to-client communication in your OpenVPN. To do that, first you have to check where is your OpenVPN server running:

- If it is running on another RUT device, you can follow this configuration on our wiki: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/OpenVPN_configuration_examples#Client_to_Client

You don't need to buy another router to reach your PLC on the LAN of your TRB140 over the OpenVPN, just by following those articles and doing the correct configuration, you should be set.

But honestly, if you want to make things easier, you can use ZeroTier VPN, as this configuration is much more simple and straightfoward.
