Hi,

I keep deleting this line in crontab (many RUTX14, not just one) and it keep appearing again and again. My doubt, Is it a necessary system crontab entry, could it be affecting the rest of my crontab scheduled tasks?

6 9 * * 5 /sbin/rut_fota -i >/dev/null 2>&1 #746c74

Firmware version RUTX_R_00.07.01.2.

Thanks in advance

MC

Hello,

This crontab line just runs to check if there is a new firmware version available from time to time, so you would get a notification when you login to the device, that hey, there's a new firmware version available.

It should not interfere in the functioning of other crontab lines
