Hi. Can anyone tell me if the Firewall has an effect in passthrough-mode?

I have a situation where a firewall is behind a RUT240 with an active 4G interface. In NAT mode, the firewall can establish a site-to-site VPN with another remote firewall. However, when using pass-through, the VPN will not establish, even though the remote firewall does respond to ICMP.

I'm wondering if the firewall on the RUT could be blocking something?

Hello,

Passthrough mode will disable most of the router's functionalities, thus it is possible that it interferes with the connection establishment.

Could you provide more details on your topology?

Do you have any log records from the firewalls?

Best regards,
