Hello,

Is it possible to access the end device or PLC over VPN Zerotier, which is support RS485 or RS232?

If yes, please share the procedure.

Yes its possible to access the end device or PLC over VPN Zerotier which support RS485 or RS232.

  • Install Zerotier
  • Add a managed route to the Zerotier network
  • Enable IP Forwarding
  • Configure iptables

Check the following links on how to configure Zerotier.

On Teltonika device while configuring you will need to use serial over IP mode so the router will work as serial -TCP/IP gateway and allow communication between RS232/485 devices and TCP/IP network. Otherwise there will be no routes available to serial devices as they will not utilize any networking protocols.
