Question

Hello,

I am trying to set up ipsec VPN tunnel between two RUT routers, one RUT950 and the other a RUT240.
But for some reason I cannot get them to talk to eachother.

Before I used the RUT240 with a Zyxel firewall and had the IPSEC VPN going flawless, but when I swapped the Zyxel for a RUT950 it stopped working, even tho I used the same settings.

Are there any known compability issues with using this setup?
Or any hints or tips I might need?

Hello,

I suggest taking a look at the example configuration in the following link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/IPsec_configuration_examples.

The current router's WebUI is different, though configurable settings are the same. 

Take additional attention in phase configuration as these settings must match on both devices.

You can also SSH into the router and try the following commands for debugging possible issues: 

• ipsec statusall
• logread -f | grep ipsec
