We have a RUT240 connected to a PLC for remote access through RMS vpn hub.

The problem is that when we have RMS monitoring switched on it consumes large amount of data, up to 180MB/day recieved. How is this possible? See attached files.

Dynamic monitoring is set to 60 minutes and static 15 days with an estimatied monthly data usage of download: 303,18kb and upload 721,38kb.

Hello,

Based on the information in the files you have provided, at the moment of high data usage the PLC was performing some kind of data transmission/reception. The data consumption did not originate from the RMS VPN HUB itself from monitoring, but from the connected devices.

The data consumption depends on the way data transfer from the PLC is configured.
