Question

He wants to use the RS232 port in TRB142 to manage Cisco Switches remotely.
Assumption: I connect to SSH with RTB142 -> I run minicom -> I manage the switch.
RS232 in MODE MODEM.
Did not work!!!

I am asking for tips.

The mode modem is for managing the internal Quectel modem of the device. What you are looking for is the "Over IP" functionality, which allows you to send data to the serial port using a common TCP console.
