I see this question hasn't been asked recently. Is there a suitable replacement for the RUT850? That would be suitable in a moving vehicle.

There currently is no direct replacement for RUT850 however, you could try either RUT240 or RUT950 which are both e-mark certified devices that are suited for motor vehicle use
