RUTX11 – Not connecting to mobile carrier after reboot

Hello, I have two simcards. Sim 1 is set to default. After reboot I need to “save & apply changes” for the RUT11X to connect to the mobile carrier. No changes have been made. SIM switch is off for both SIM cards.

Please advice how to amend this issue.

Hello,

Is the connection stable after you press “save & apply” changes?

Here are a couple of things you can try:

  • Access the router's WebUI and navigate to Service -> Auto reboot -> Ping/Wget reboot. Configure an instance to reboot modem in case of no data connectivity. More details about automatic reboot are provided here.
  • In System -> Custom scripts add the following line and save it: 
    • /etc/init.d/network restart

Yes the connection is stable once I do a save & apply. Even when no changes have been made.

I added the suggested changes to the device. It's like the problem persists. And the modem reboots but still not connecting to either of the two carrier.

adding the 

  • /etc/init.d/network restart
seems to have fixed the problem
