Hi All

We have got a customer that wants to install the RUT240 in all their machines.

They don't want to use the 3G or LTE side of the router.

They want to plug the router into an existing network to get remote access to the machine using DDNS.

I know we can plug the existing network into the wan side of the router and get internet that way, but how do i get the DDNS to update to the local IP address and not the IP given by the DHCP on the wan side?

Hope this makes sense.

HI,

DDNS to update to the local IP address

What you mean? Router LAN IP?

Hi

If you plug the wan port into a existing network that is running DHCP.

The DDNS will update to the IP address assigned by the existing network router and not the local IP address.
