We have purchased a TRB255. We are trying to use it to store counts from a wheel pulse sensor (IO) and send the total counts to our server every 2 minutes. Can this be done with current firmware or custom script?

Hello,

Currently, there is no direct implementation of your use case requirements. Such a feature is planned for TRB255, however, no date or firmware version as of when this could happen is set yet.

A similar question has already been asked here, it might provide you with additional ideas.

Best regards,

Hi,

Counting pulses, i.e., from simple energy meters, is still widely used and cost-efficient. You have this feature on another device.

Impulse counter - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika GPS (teltonika-gps.com). This device is for fleet tracking, however. You mentioned counting pulses via a script, but in our case, we need high-speed counting. A higher frequency is required.
