Hi,

We're just making a little Tutorial for ourselves and were surprised that if we want to update the firmware, in our Case a RuT240, that as soon as we selected the .bin file, when updating via File Upload, the Update Process was started.

It would be appreciated, if this Update Process could be similar to the Process of restoring a Configuration. Just to have another evaluation of choosing the right Firmware that you want to update to. That the Update File is the one you wanted and didn't get corrupted (sha256CheckSum). And if you really want to Update the Device.

Update from File -> Choose Firmware to Update to -> Upload Configuration -> Check sha256 Checksum -> Click Proceed -> Start the Update Process

Kind Regards

Kai Jakobsen

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

I would like to ask, which firmware version are you using, as currently, both legacy and RUTOs prompts you with a window informing about checksums, configuration settings and firmware authorization, where you can still select to either cancel or proceed with the update.

Best regards,
