It is asking me to be set it up in that way in order to activate the hotspot 2.0, also does this functionality works with the limit amount of data set up that can be found in the hotspots functionality?

Hello,

You can configure WPA2-EAP encryption in the Network → Wireless page. Click 'Edit' next to an interface and switch to the Wireless Security section).

For more details on the Hotspot 2 feature, please refer to this wiki page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Hotspot_2.0. It allows to limit download and upload speeds, but not set the data limit.
