Hi there!

We noticed that the new RUT241 uses an app in order to have dyndns service working.

However the app seems to never update the hostname to the provider.

Any clues?

Hi,

Please log in to your router via ssh and execute the following command:

cat /tmp/logs/ddns/{yourddnsinstance.log}

Note: change the {yourddnsinstance.log} with your ddns instance name.

Then, please send me the whole log through a PM to look where might be the issue.

Hi there,

I checked the log files as you mentioned, and apparently it seems that the username (combined with the group name in noip.com) must be seperated with " # " , instead of " : ", as it used to be in the prior rut240 configurations

It works great now.
