Hello

I just updated the firmware on a RUT955 but have now lost the public IP address we had with our service provider

I’m thinking that might have been a result of upgrading the firmware.

The unit is in a remote location and I’ve been using the RMS portal to manage the unit and upgrade the firmware,  my understanding is when I downgrade the firmware I will lose config but will I still have access via the rms?

Hello,

Do you have Auto APN enabled?

Could you check if the router automatically set the correct value in the WebUI Network -> Interfaces section?

If the value is incorrect according to your service plan, edit your mobile interface settings, disable Auto APN option and enter your custom value.

Best regards,
